● Engage with us in other related ways, including posting Favors, requests, submitting requests and bids, making payment, communicating or other functionality. 

1. Introduction 

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Favor App. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. 

2. Information Collection and Use 

Personal Information: We collect information you provide when you register, such as your name, gender, email address, phone number, physical address, and payment information. We also collect your ID information for verification purposes. This data is essential for the app’s functionality. 

Location Data: We collect and use precise location information from your device with your permission to facilitate service provision by connecting you with nearby users. Even if you do not use our location-related features, we use IP addresses and other information like phone number area codes to estimate your general location (e.g., city and country). We also use your location information for diagnostics and troubleshooting purposes. 

Social Media Login Data. We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your Facebook, Google, or other social media account. If you choose to register in this way, we will collect certain profile information about you from the social media provider, as described in the section called “HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?” below. 

3. Information Storage 

Data Retention: We retain your ID information for a period of up to 2 years to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. This period is necessary to protect both user interests and our operational integrity.

5. How do we handle your Social Logins? 

If you choose to register or log in to our Services using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you. 

Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Facebook or Google and Apple logins). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, friends list, and profile picture, as well as other information you choose to make public on such a social media platform. 

We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this privacy notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. The Favor App uses services provided by third parties such as Stripe for payments and Trust Swiftly for ID verification. These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies,

and we encourage you to review their policies as we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

We obtain your consent to use your personal data for specific purposes beyond basic functionality when you register. You have the option to withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your user settings or contacting us directly. 

9. Customer Support and Other Communications 

When you contact us for customer support or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide us with information related to your use of our Services, including copies of your messages, screenshots of the Favor you worked on/requested work on and any other information you deem helpful. For example, you may send us emails with information relating to app performance or other issues. We use this information to address your concerns and improve our services. 

10. How We Use Information 

We use the information we collect to operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services. This includes providing customer support; completing transactions; improving and customizing our services; understanding how our services are used; and conducting troubleshooting activities. 11. Data Breach Notification 

In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify you via email and through the app within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. We will also provide guidance on how you can protect yourself from potential harm.

If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located. We ensure that adequate protection is in place for such transfers and adhere to legal frameworks governing international data transfers.

We access, preserve, and share your information as described above if we have a good-faith belief that it is necessary to respond pursuant to applicable law or regulations, enforce our

Terms and policies, detect, investigate, prevent, or address fraud and other illegal activity or security issues, or protect the rights, property, and safety of our users, the Favor App, or others.

Depending on your state of residence in the US or in some regions, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, and Canada, you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. Please note that you must ensure your account has no pending favors or payments at the time of your termination request. This is to ensure that all outstanding transactions are resolved and that there are no obligations left unfulfilled before account deactivation.
